Before accreting to Laurasia, the microcontinent of Iberia rifted from Greater Adria. What was once Greater Adria now forms the Alps, Apennines, the Balkans, Anatolia, the Caucasus. Including the Iberian microcontinent, it also now forms Iberia, the Pyrenees, and Occitania.
